August 2026 — Field-utility redesign & the accuracy pack

New look: industrial charcoal + safety-orange "field utility" redesign — mono numerals, squarer chrome, high-contrast status colors. New app icon to match.
Accuracy pack: three-model agreement checks (GFS · ECMWF · ICON) on the briefing, every day of the 7-day, and the score breakdown; real weather-station observations shown beside model data; a self-grading forecast scorecard measured against station instruments; NWS forecaster discussion in-app; SPC severe outlooks for days 1–3; a 30-minute lightning all-clear countdown.
Delay reports: per-cause impact breakdown, official NWS warning history for the exact site, and one-click true PDF download (server-rendered).
International honesty: outside the US the app now says exactly which layers are supported (forecasts, scores, radar) and which are US-only (official warnings, station verification, push alerts) instead of degrading silently.
Boot at your own location (last-known + immediate GPS), delay-report shortcuts on saved sites, self-hosted fonts (no third-party requests), own NHC proxy, install prompt, and a modular codebase under the hood.

Rebrand: StormRadar → CrewCast (avoids confusion with The Weather Company's Storm Radar app).
Trust pack: per-module "last updated" timestamps and source labels, a live data-health indicator (Live / Cached / Delayed / Partial / Offline), defensible safety wording, and persistent safety disclaimers.
"Why this score?" — full factor-by-factor Job-Site Score breakdown with a confidence level.
Day/night-aware weather icons (no more midnight sun ☀️→🌙) and night-aware background glow.
